As summer in the city slowly comes to a close, I find myself at a crossroads. I am thrilled for the fall - pumpkin spiced lattes, chunky sweaters and leaves falling from the trees. But what about summer? This year, like every year before, it seems as though the summer months flew by quicker than the last. Is it really true what they say? Does time only go quicker the older you get?
Much like every other year, Chicago seems to have gotten the note that summer has come and gone on the later side. It's almost September and the humidity is high. The days are hot. And the mornings and nights are somewhere in between. I find myself in a conundrum - how do I dress for these awkward days? My pair of holey jeans are one of my favorites - casual, relax, comfortable. Pair them with a breathable 5 Year Basic Tee from Lululemon and a pair of fresh kicks from Converse and I am ready to hit the city. I recently picked up these new sunglasses from Warby Parker and I cannot get enough of them. Perfect for running errands or walking around the city with friends.
