I'M GOING TO SEE THE WORLD.
Why is it that I feel basic dreaming about seeing the world? About finding adventure? Making new experiences and memories? I sit here, dreaming about the things to come and I sadly feel as though it is unoriginal or just like the person next to me. Everyone has dreams to do big things with their lives. Me? Writing. Being creative. Cooking. Photography. Travel. Others? Being a parent. Inventing the next great thing. Bringing change to the American political scene.
So what is it? Why do I feel the need and right to dream big
and then second guess it all?
This weekend I went home to Libertyville for Easter. I cooked with my mom. Got coffee at my favorite local coffee shop. Went on a walk through the forest preserve. Spent time with family and friends. After three days, I found myself walking away with a new lens on life. Who cares if everyone dreams big? That's exactly what we all should be doing! So as of today, I vow to fight harder. Push further. Dream bigger.
Patagonia + Levi's + Vans = the holy trinity for finding adventure!
