Whether I've been out for a night of drinking or am staying home for a lazy night of Netflix, I always have the tendency to end up with food in my bed. Perhaps this is a factor of living in a studio apartment, but there is very little that I like more than crawling up in bed with a pint of ice cream, or a hamburger and french fries, and catching up with my favorite guilty pleasures on Netflix.
Just think about it for a minute - you are sitting in bed watching the newest season of Chef's Table. The cinematography is exquisite. You can almost taste the food through the screen. All of the sudden, your stomach erupts with a momentous grumble. What do you do? Ignore it and keep watching? False! You go get a bunch of food and start eating.
While waking up the next morning with a stale french fry stuck to your back may not be the sexiest, it is all worth it. Just me. Next time you are thinking about Netflixing and Chilling, try this instead:
