I'm crazy about wandering.
If you need to know one thing about me, it's that I'm a 'go-body.' Adventure, road trips, airplanes and exploration are a few of my favorite things.
Road trips have to be near the top of that list. This past weekend, my friend Bryce and I drove to the Twin Cities area for a conference and we decided to make a little adventure out of it. Get ready for a 3 part installment of The American Swede Road Trip.
Every road trip requires music, junk food, friends, good conversation, and random pit stops. You never know what will happen along the journey, so there are some things you have to be ready with: an energetic personality and a camera. These will make any road trip that much more exciting!
Bryce and I stopped in Lake City, MN to take a little walk on the ice covered lake. It was one of the craziest things I've seen this winter! The lake's waves froze in action against the pier. Cracks spread across the ice like a spider web. It was an incredible sight!
2 hours spent on the lake and we were off again. Look out for part 2 & 3! That's right, this week is a three post kind of week.
