"So tie me to the mast of this old ship and point me home
Before I lose the one I love, before my chance is gone."
We don't always see eye to eye on everything. Erik loves folk and indie music a little too much; Tommy yearns for pop and electronic music. Erik would pick a good trip to a local thrift store, while Tommy would like to browse through the nearest Crate & Barrel. Nonetheless we'll always be brothers. And while we have our differences, there are some things we can't disagree on.
Water. We love the water. Let that be an ocean, a lake, or a river. Give us a speed boat, jet ski, wakeboard, kayak, canoe, or simply our swim trunks and we'll be enjoy life on the water any day. We also agree that we both love nautical apparel. Opening a fresh box of genuine leather Sperry boat shoes. Polos covered in anchors. The nautical life is the life for us.
We love our vacations. And vacations that happen to be on or near a body of water always win. Yes, The East and Hudson Rivers in NYC do count as a body of water even though it is not quite what we look for. Take us to New York and we'd really enjoy the beaches of Montauk (no offense NYC, but where are your beaches!?) Now if we are talking Midwest getaways, Door County will always be a clear option. There is nothing quite like the pace of life up there. You can't help but leave all of your troubles and worries in the city.
If you know any must-see places (preferably with a water-view) leave a comment or email us. We would love to hear from you and get new ideas for future posts.
