American Past Time.

Tommy Engstrom

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out to the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks!

I don't really watch baseball, like ever. I did play when I was little, for quite a while in fact, until I got hit in the eye with a pitch. That was the end of my baseball career. I'm not about getting hit in the eye by a fast ball. Sorry I'm not sorry.

That being said, it is "America's Favorite Past time." So from time to time I will get dragged to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. Why do I go? For the beer. And hot dogs. And the weather. And the people watching, the people watching is insane! More often than not I don't even stay the entire game. No one does. They get a little tipsy at the ballpark and then go out to the surrounding bars for all kinds of debauchery. At the end of the day, it's an experience. One that you get to enjoy outdoors during the summer.

However, give me a baseball tee or a red and blue checked shirt (these are baseball-ish, right?) and I will be one happy Swede, er, I mean American!
