let's get blazed.

Tommy Engstrom

No I am not talking about getting high off marijuana! I am talking about pulling those blazers out of your closet and wearing them more often!

A few days ago I was rummaging through my closet, trying to organize and find clothes to donate. I stumbled across a number of blazers and instantly decided to rock the blazer more frequently.

Traditionally blazers are used in more formal settings. Say at work, or a formal event like a wedding or event. Sure, I love to get dressed up, but why not dress the blazer down?

I've noticed the recent trend of mixing ties and blazers into more casual attire. If you ask me, it's genius. Just make sure it works. There are so many options at your disposal - colors, textures, fabrics. However, be sure these components of the blazer compliment the rest of your look.  Be sure to keep it simple. At the end of the day, you want to look sharp. Don't clown around in a monkey suit.
